Vivian Lovina Prince

February 26, 1931 – January 16, 2025

Vivian Lovina Prince died on Jan.16th, 2025, in Woodland California, after a lengthy illness. Vivian was born on February 26th, 1931 in San Antonio ,TX Vivian was the youngest of 3 children along with sister Betty and brother Paul. Vivian was fiercely loved and protected by her sister and brother.

Vivian met the love of her life, Lamar Prince in San Antonio while Lamar was stationed at Lakeland AFB. They married on March 9th ,1949

and were married for 57 years until Lamar passed away in 2006. Vivian was a loving wife to Lamar and a loving mother to her children Donald, Mike, Ken, Kathy ,Joe, and Paul. Her children were so blessed to have a mother who had such a loving and devoted and servant heart who always placed her family’s needs above her own needs. Vivian was a homemaker for most of her marriage.

Vivian was also a devoted servant to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and served faithfully at Sacred Heart Church in Susanville, CA and at St Rose in Roseville,CA.

Vivian was proceeded in death by her mother Rosalie Ryan, sister Betty Eravi, brother Paul Reid, her son Donald, and her daughter Kathy. Vivian is survived by her sons Mike, Ken, Joe, and Paul (Diane) Vivian leaves behind 17 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and a few great-great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at St.Mary’s Cemetery in Sacramento, CA on March 7th, 2025 at 10:00am  with a Committal Service following the funeral and a Reception afterwards.
