Virginia “Ginny” White Johnson

Virginia “Ginny” White Johnson passed away peacefully after a long illness in Sacramento, California at the age of 85.

Virginia Frances White was born in Davenport, Iowa to William A. and Virginia Emmett White on January 6, 1939. She was educated at St. Francis High School in Sacramento, Seattle University (BS), and the University of Washington (MS). Virginia taught Home Economics for the Sacramento Unified School District until retiring in 1999.

She was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, James O. Johnson and her parents. She is survived by her brother, Macy (Lucy) and nephews, Thomas, Gregory, Nicholas, and their families. Virginia was active in St. Mary’s Parish.
