Salvador was the anchor and an outstanding example to his family, who dedicated his life to his loving wife, his children, and their families. He had a strong faith and belief in his religion. He always showed respect and kindness to all he encountered through life. Salvador worked over 40 years for Southern Pacific Railroads, being an exemplary worker and loyal to the company.
Salvador attended an auto mechanics course at the old State Fair Grounds to pursue his hobby of working on his personal cars. He had a passion for the sport of boxing and was always entertained watching a good match. Once retired, he enjoyed his morning walks through Land Park and spending time working in his backyard, planting flowers and pruning his trees.
He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren during family birthday BBQs, watching the grandchildren hunting eggs at Easter, and 4th of July fire works with the family and friends. Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings always brought him much happiness with all the family together enjoying all the potluck foods and his favorite Mexican music.
Our Dad, grandpa and great grandpa will be deeply and greatly missed and will always be remembered for his kindness, love, and dedication to us all.
