Robert Wilbert Naso

Robert W. Naso, 80, passed away at home from natural causes on December 16, 2024 in Sacramento, California. He was born on December 19, 1943 in Sacramento, California, where he lived throughout his life.

Robert went to All Hallows Elementary School and graduated from Christian Brothers-Bishop Armstrong High School in 1962. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Sacramento State University in 1968. He obtained a State Barber License. From 1968 to 1970, he served in the U.S. Army as a Military Police.

Some of his hobbies include hunting, fishing, animals, reading mystery novels, collecting baseball cards and going for long, daily walks. Robert enjoyed the outdoors, flowering plants and gardening. For a time, he had his own landscaping business. He took responsibility for the caretaking of his mother, Minnie Naso.

In the year 2000, Robert co-founded an online stock portfolio with his brother George S., his sister-in-law Dr. Marisol Naso (María) and his niece Angela M. Naso, who participated in these investments to the present. And his legacy will not end the day he died.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Salvatore and Minnie Naso, sister Jean Messerer and nephew Daniel Messerer. In addition to his older brother, sister-in-law and niece, he is survived by many cousins.

A Graveside Ceremony will take place on January 16, 2025, at 10 a.m., in the St. Mary Cemetery and Funeral Center, 6509 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento, California.
