Robert (Bob) Hudson

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Hudson. Bob passed away on October 13, 2025. He was born in Murray, Utah on December 25, 1949, to parents Kenna and Wayne Hudson. Bob is survived by his wife, Debbie, son Justin, daughter Sarah, grandchildren Nevaeh and Dominic, as well as many friends and loved ones. Bob was an inspiration. His first passion was music. He began with playing the drums as a teenager as he listened to the Beetles and spent the early part of his life touring. He continued playing guitar, drums, and piano throughout his life. After losing his eye sight, he learned to play classical piano and earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology, and opened a private practice. His passion to help others was truly remarkable. A funeral liturgy will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 15 at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 4123 Robertson Ave., Sacramento. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Bob’s name to Guide Dogs for the Blind.
