Robert “Bob” Glynn

Robert “Bob” Allen Glynn passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at home in Citrus Heights, CA.

Bob was born May 16, 1936 in St. Mary’s, Ohio to Peter and Esther Glynn. He was the youngest of 5 children. The family moved form Ohio to Tucson, AZ then Motebello, CA. Bob graduated from Cantwell High School in Montebello, CA.

He served in the United States Army and reserves earning an honorable discharge in 1961.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Esther Glynn, siblings Inez (Francis) Moore, Lois Macy Taylor (Roy & Len ), Irene Byard and Thomas Glynn.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Rebecca Glynn, daughters Rita (Kevin) Kilkenny of Fair Oaks, CA., Robbie Glynn (Don) of Citrus Heights, CA., granddaughter Rebecca (Justin) Cathcart of North Highlands, CA., Grandson Ryan Kilkenny of Fair Oaks, CA., sisters-in-law Bonnie Glynn of Anaheim, CA., Veronica (Fred) Schmidt of Folsom, CA., and brothers-in-law Charles Byard of Redding, CA., John Chavez of Fair Oaks, CA., Samuel Chavez of Orangevale, CA., along with many nieces and nephews.

A Rosay will be held at 10:00 am and a funeral mass at 10:30 am on September 25, 2024, at Divine Savior Catholic Church, 9079 Greenback Lane, Orangevale, CA 95652.  Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery & Funeral Center, 7101 Verner Avenue, Citrus Heights, CA 95621 at 2 pm

Bob will be dearly missed by his family and friends. They were everything to him.
