Regina, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt passed peacefully on the Solemnity of the Epiphany. She was born in Managua, Nicaragua, daughter of Roberto Antonio Palma and Juana Emelina Useda de Palma, third of seven children. Regina was caring and had a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed salsa music, which she loved dancing as much as she loved camping, cooking, and crafting.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Rene Baltodano, father, Roberto Palma, sisters Maria José Palma, Martha Patricia Soto (Oscar), Anita Palma-Raya (Javier), Antonieta Bendaña (Martin), Claudia Quinn (Keith Baker), brother Roberto Palma Jr. (Natalie), son Christopher Palma, grandchildren Julianna, Adrian, Christiana, Cameron Palma, and more than a few nieces and nephews who will always carry her memory in their hearts.
A vigil service will be held on Thursday, February 2 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at St Mary Cemetery & Funeral Services, 6509 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento, CA 95820. A mass will be held on Friday, February 3 at 10:00 am at St. Rose Catholic Church, 5961 Franklin Blvd. Sacramento, CA 95824. Funeral immediately following at St. Mary Cemetery & Funeral Services.
