Rebeca Lugo Saldivar

Rebeca Saldivar, born Rebeca Lugo, surrounded by her family peacefully passed away on June 30, 2023, in El Dorado Hills, CA, at the age of 99. She was born on January 5, 1924, in Mexico, and was the beloved wife of the late Guillermo Saldivar. Rebeca was also preceded in death by her son, Victor Saldivar.

Rebeca will be lovingly remembered by her son William (Leticia) Saldivar, daughter Rebecca (Gene) Burchett, and her grandchildren Trent, Eric, Marissa, and Jacob.

Rebeca was known for her intelligence, generosity, competence, wit, and hard work. She was an accomplished seamstress, dedicating her career to her craft. Her skill and attention to detail were admired by all who knew her.

In her free time, Rebeca enjoyed reading, cooking, sewing, and needlepoint. These hobbies brought her joy and allowed her to express her creativity.

Rebeca’s faith was an essential part of her life, and she worshipped at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Her devotion and piety were evident in her daily actions and interactions with others.

Rebeca’s warm heart and kind spirit will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her legacy of love, dedication, and hard work will continue to inspire and guide those who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
