Ralph “Tom” Tomberg, Jr.

Son of Ralph T. Tomberg, Sr. and Barbara Leal Tomberg. Tom was born on Jan. 1, 1958 in Honolulu, Hawaii and passed away on August 5, 2023 in Tacoma, WA.

He is survived by his daughter, Thomasine Christa Wolfgram, his parents, his Aunts Janet Leal and Pat Iannello, cousin Kari Leal, Sandra Matteson, Steve Leal, Scott Leal, Kim Mcaluso, Cheryl Shulse, and many other cousins.

He graduated from Springfield High School, VA and attended 2 years at Virginia State University. He was a professional tile setter, the owner of and operator of his company the “Tile Doctor” and a home improvement specialist.

He was a sports enthusiast (golf, football, soccer, baseball) and was a very successful fisherman and talented snow skier.

He enjoyed traveling in the USA and Europe with his parents while his Father was in the Military.
He celebrated his 16th Birthday in Paris, France and his 18th Birthday skiing in the Austrian Alps.
Celebrated a special “Vatican City Holy Year” while in Rome.

He was a loving, kind and thoughtful son, friend and neighbor. Thomas will be remembered for his kindness & love of family. friends & his great love for his many pets.(cats, dogs and even critters.)

Funeral services will be held on August 30, at 0900 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery and Chapel, Sacramento, CA

Tom will be greatly missed.
