Pompia Demana Bond

Our beloved Pompia Demana Bond tragically left us on September 1st, 2024 at the age of 89. Loved and missed by daughters Kathern and Marchia and fur baby Billy Bob.

> Pompia was born on Apr 5th in Cebu, Philippines. She became a career military wife after marrying kindred soul, Franklin Shelton Bond, in August 1960. The family settled in Sacramento, California after many years of travel. Both her husband and their first born, Frank Jr., preceded her in death. Franklin passed in 2017 and Frank Jr. at the age of 4 in 1966.

> Pompia’s smile and passion for gardening, karaoke singing, and dancing in fashionable high heels touched all who knew her. Franklin and Pompia were longtime member of the VFW Auxillary Post 4647 in Antelope. It was a very special place that was near & dear to her heart.

> Please join us celebrating her life Tuesday morning October 1, 2024, between 10:30 a.m. — 1 pm at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church located at 5751 Locust Ave., Carmichael, CA 95608. The vigil and rosary starts at 10:30 am followed by the service at 11am. The reception will be immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her daughters’ charity — Mabuhay Lions.
