Paul Gonzales

Paul Gonzales, 94, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026, in Sacramento, California. Born on May 29, 1932, Paul lived a long and fulfilling life marked by dedication to his family, service to his country, and a steadfast work ethic.

Paul proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1952 during the Korean War conflict. His bravery and honor were hallmarks of his character throughout his life. After his military service, Paul embarked on a career with Campbell Soup Company, where he worked diligently until his retirement in 1996.

A devoted family man, Paul was predeceased by his beloved wife Sarah V Gonzales; daughter Genevieve Gonzales; sons Jerry Gonzales and Paul Ernest Gonzales; and nephew Nathan Gonzales. He is survived by Paula Gonzales, Alvin Gonzales, Gabriel Gonzales, Christina Lopez (Conchas), Jennie Nunez (Jerry), as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other loving family members. Paul was also a cherished brother to seven siblings.

Known for his humility, grace, and kindness, Paul’s life was defined by his unwavering commitment to providing for his family and supporting others. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, uncle, and brother who touched the lives of all who knew him.

Paul will be laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery located at 6509 Fruitridge Road in Sacramento. May his memory bring comfort to those who mourn his loss and inspire all who remember him.
