Mon Wai Yee

Mon, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed peacefully in his sleep.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon, 2 sons (daughter-in-laws), Sam (Feng) and Michael (Mercedes), 5 grandchildren (grandson/granddaughter-in-laws), Tiffany (Andy), Kevin (Dinh), Jennifer (Ricky), Matthew (Tina), and Melanie (Gabriel), and 13 great-grand-children (Anson, Anvin, Anthea, Candace, Winston, Patrick, Henrick, Jessica, Joey, Angelina, Seraphina, Preston, and Emma).

He was born in China and immigrated to the United States with his wife and youngest son on September 1968.  His oldest son and his family was not able to join him until November 1984 when they also immigrated to Sacramento.  He mostly worked as a cook making delicious chinese foods such as roast pork, roast duck, soy sauce chicken, BBQ pork, just to name a few.  He loved eating all different types of food but of course, his favorite was always going to be Chinese food.  He was an active member of the Yee Fung Toy Family Association in Sacramento and enjoyed visiting and socializing with all his brothers.
