Mary Patricia Michelmore

February 1, 1933 – October 24, 2024

Mary Patricia Michelmore passed away, after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. Pat, as she was known to her family and friends, was born in Montreal, Canada on February 1, 1933. She moved with her parents to Los Angeles, CA where she attended and graduated from Bishop Conaty Memorial High School and went on to study at Mount St. Mary’s College. There she met her best friend and the love of her life, Jack. They were married on January 30, 1954. They enjoyed 59 wonderful years together, raising 5 sons as well as owning and operating their family restaurant. Pat always considered her sons and their families her greatest accomplishment and dearly loved all of them.

Pat also loved to travel. She enjoyed countless journeys with family and friends including trips to Europe, cruises to various countries, and visits to many cities across the United States. As recently as this August, Pat enjoyed an amazing Alaskan cruise with her family. However, some of Pat’s favorite memories also came from spending time with her family and loved ones in Lake Tahoe.

Pat was a sweet, compassionate person who always cared for everyone else before herself even up to her last moments. She accepted and loved everyone without reservation; and was loved and respected by all who knew her. Her presence was always a spark that brought joy to every gathering. Even though we know she is at peace and with Jack again, we will all miss her tremendously. She was an amazing woman we can only hope to model ourselves after.

She is survived by her sons John (Dottie), Rick (Julie), Dave (Liz), Glenn (Mindy), and Jim; her grandchildren Randy (Kerrie), Chris (Tina), Kevin (Annalisa), Krista (Matt), Ricky (Kristy), Jeff (Amanda), Tim (Holly), Kimberly (Minh), Melissa (Mike); her great-grandchildren Scott (Nikki), Masson, Wren, Orion, Katherine, Emma (Kevin), Sarah, Katie, Ariel, Lena, Milo, Zayden, Jackson and Hudson; and her great-great-grandchildren Norah, Rory, Zayda, and Zeek.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Frances Perram, her husband Jack, her brothers Bobby and Tony, and her granddaughter Michelle.

Services will be held at 12:00pm, Monday, November 11 th , 2024 at Calvary Catholic Cemetery 7100 Verner Ave, Citrus Heights, CA 95621. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Pat’s memory to Haven Dog Rescue in Roseville, CA, or the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sacramento, CA.
