Maria Neva Strupeni

Maria Neva Strupeni was born on December 22, 1925, in San Andrea di Compito, Italy. She passed away peacefully on September 25, 2026, at the age of 100, leaving behind generations of family and a lifetime of cherished memories.

Maria was the beloved wife of her late husband, Cesare Strupeni, and the daughter of the late Emilio Orsi and Cerimene Pineschi. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Fernando Orsi.

In 1955, Maria left her homeland of Italy to begin a new life in America with her husband and their oldest son. They settled in San Francisco, where they lived for many years before moving to Roseville, California. She later lived in Oakley and spent the last several months of her life in Rocklin, California.

Maria was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who treasured her family deeply. She is survived by her two sons, Paul Mauro Strupeni and Robert Strupeni (Julie).

She leaves behind five beloved grandchildren: Laurica (Andrew), Paul (Aimee), Christopher (Allyson), Daniel (Leticia), and Nicole.

Maria was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren:  Andrew Thomas, Ella, Lily, Bailey, Mason, Ryan, and Madison.

Maria’s journey from Italy to America was one of courage and resilience, and one she shared with Cesare. What began with the two of them creating a new home in a new country grew into a family spanning three generations, a legacy they created together.

Her life will be remembered, her love will be cherished, and her memory will remain in the hearts of her family for years to come.

May she rest in peace and may her memory always be a blessing to those who knew and loved her.
