Manuela Mendioro Watson
- March 25, 1950 - August 11, 2026
Manuela was born on March 25, 1950 in Manila, Philippines to Amparo and Creseno Mendioro and peacefully entered eternal rest on August 11, 2026, in Gold River, California.
Manuela, lovingly referred to by all as Ella, lived a life deeply rooted in faith, kindness, and devotion to family and friends. She attended nursing school at St. Paul University Manila and then served dutifully as a registered nurse for 35 years in the communities in which she lived.
A devout Catholic, Ella was an active parishioner at Divine Savior Catholic Church where she attended mass regularly. She greatly enjoyed the company of the clergy and of her fellow parishioners. She drew great strength from her faith and continued to attend mass online when her health no longer allowed in-person attendance.
Ella shared her life and love generously with all those who were blessed to know her. As a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, godmother, and friend, she cherished the relationships God placed in her life. She had a special gift for bringing people together, and her warm smile, joyful laughter, and welcoming heart made others feel loved and at home.
Ella’s life was enriched by the many friendships she formed and the countless people whose lives she touched with her kindness, encouragement, and good humor. She was a loyal and caring friend, always finding strength in her family, her friendships, and her faith. Guided by her convictions and sustained by her love for God and those around her, Ella faced life’s challenges with courage and determination.
May we remember her with gratitude for the love she gave so freely and take comfort in the faith that she now rests in the loving and eternal embrace of God.
