Joseph ” Joe” Tatman

Joseph “Joe” Tatman passed away peacefully on September 17, 2024 after a short illness. He was 85. Joe was born in San Francisco and raised between San Francisco and Orangevale, CA. He graduated from San Juan High School in 1957 and later attended American River College. He served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve and worked in sales for many years. He attended St. Teresa of Avila Church in Auburn where he participated in the Saint Vincent de Paul Society. He will be remembered as a fierce fan of the San Francisco 49ers and admirer of vintage sports cars. In his wallet Joe carried a verse from Isaiah, and these are the words we leave you with: “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you.

On October 25, 2024, there will be a visitation at 10 am and a funeral mass at 11 AM at the Calvary Cemetery in Citrus Heights, CA.
