Jose Ramon Robles Laguna

With deep sadness and endless love, we announce the passing of Jose Ramon Robles-Laguna, who passed away on June 13, 2026, surrounded by family he cherished so deeply, a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Ramon was born in Mexico and built a life in California marrying the love of his life Teresa Robles and rooted that life with hard work, love, and family.

He found joy in simple routines, especially his early morning walks often spent collecting cans along the way-his favorite pastime. Weekends were treasured times with his wife, whether they were exploring auctions, browsing yard sales, or enjoying a comforting bowl of Menudo and visiting casinos. He was also generous in spirit, often donating to local food banks. He treasured long road trips to Mexico to visit family and loved ones. He will be remembered most for his quiet generosity and the stories he shared, which had a way of making everyone feel welcome.

We will always remember Ramon for his steadfast heart and the warmth and love his family felt in his presence. Services will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 6509 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento, 95820, Viewing will be held 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm, Mass will be 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm.  A celebration of life will be held following the ceremony at the Mexican American Hall of Fame Sports Association, located at 2770 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento, CA 95820. Though he will be deeply missed, Ramon’s love will remain with his family and friends in every story shared and every quiet act of kindness he leaves behind.
