Jacob Patrick Jochem

Jacob P. Jochem, 33, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026, in an automobile accident west of Lake Tahoe.

Raised in Washington State and California, Jacob was a devoted father, loving fiancé, and a constant source of strength and inspiration to his blended family and those closest to him. He worked in the aviation industry and had a deep passion for welding and all things mechanical. Above all, Jacob treasured time with his family. He especially loved beach trips and bike rides with his boys. He was known for his quick wit and sharp humor, and he had a special gift for making people laugh. He will be remembered for the deep love he shared with his fiancé, children, family, and friends.

Jacob is survived by his fiancé, Lucy; Lucy’s son, Christian; Jacob and Lucy’s sons, Julian and Adrian; his younger brother, Lucas; his parents, Patrick and Amanda; his godparents, Scott and Leticia; and many loving cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at St. Mary Cemetery & Funeral Center, 6509 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento, CA 95820.

Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Mass will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m, with a reception afterward.

The service is open to family and friends.
