Indriani Djaja

Indriani Djaja, or Giok, was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She returned to heaven peacefully on July 23rd, 2024 at the age of 81.

After graduating from St. Ursula all-girls high school, Indriani chased her dream to become a dentist. She attended the University of Indonesia School of Dentistry where she met her husband of 55 years, Dani Laksana. She is survived by her husband, two children and their partners, and four grandchildren.

Indriani lived a very active life—she enjoyed cooking for her loved ones, gardening in her backyard, and dancing. However, her biggest passions were The Holy Mass, Rosary and praying for others.

Services will be held on Saturday, August 17th, 2024 at St. Mary Cemetery and Funeral Center, 6509 Fruitridge Rd, Sacramento, CA 95820. Closed casket viewing will start at 9:00 AM, Rosary prayer at 9:30, mass at 10:00, followed by a reception at 11:00. All are invited
