Guadalupe Vera Alvarez

Originally from El Salto, Jalisco, Mexico.  She relocated to the Watsonville Valley where she spent the majority of her life.  She leaves behind her son (Patricio Batad), and three daughters (Linda Stallings, Nancy Lepe, Angela Lopez), as well as 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.

She will be dearly missed by all those she touched.  She was a free spirit who loved life and loved her family.  She poured her heart into those she loved.  Although her path was unconventional for the time, she was a trailblazer for her time with no apologies!  More importantly, she taught us all to live life to the fullest and always be true to yourself.

A mass will be held for Guadalupe Vera Alvarez at St. Paul Catholic Church, 8720 Florin Road in Sacramento on Friday February 21 at 10:00 am.
