GONZÁLEZ, Pascualita (Lita)

Surrounded by her family, Pascualita (Lita) Jasso González passed away at home peacefully at the age of 89 in Sacramento, CA on Saturday, April 8^th, 2023.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Claudio of nearly 60 years; children: Beatriz (Scott Crowl) and Ricardo (Joyce McCauley); grandchildren: Vicente, Cortez and Benicio; nephews: Rickey, Javier and Rudy as well as numerous relatives and friends whom she loved and cared for so dearly.

Lita was predeceased by her parents Victoriano and Sabas Jasso, siblings Humberto and Daniel, sister’s in law Ramona and Celia and her nephew Marc.

She spent her youth on a farm with her two younger brothers. Despite having lost her mother at the age of 6, she was raised by her grandmother, Refugio, who was a shining light in her life and Lita spoke of her often with great fondness. In her teenage years, Lita was a remarkable and caring mother figure for many nephews and cousins.

She was the definition of a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Her happiest times were spent with her family which she loved unconditionally.  Lita was the epitome of kindness and warmth, forever positive, she embraced life while always seeing the best in others. Her faith was a fundamental part of who she was and her prayers were filled with care and concern for the entire family and for all of her friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10am on July 5^th, 2023, at St. Mary’s Cemetery & Funeral Center at 6509 Fruitridge Rd, Sacramento, CA 95820.
