Gloria DaPrato Tomei

Gloria DaPrato Tomei passed away peacefully at her home on August 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving  caregivers and family.

Gloria was born October 1, 1930 in Sacramento California at the family home on 48th St, in the heart of Little Italy.  Preceded  in death by her parents Batista and Maria DaPrato, her loving husband of 51 years Carl Tomei and her beloved brother Willie Daprato. She is survived by her sister Delina Skarles and her nieces and nephews, who lovingly cared for her in her later years. Also survived by numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews, godchildren, and most importantly her cat, Sinatra.

Services will be held on 8/18/2026 at 11am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 3159 Land Park Dr, Sacramento, CA 95818,  followed by interment at St Mary’s Cemetery and Funeral Center,  6509 Fruitridge Rd. Sacramento, CA 95820.
