Frank Wolniak

On Tuesday, August 1, 2023, Frank Wolniak, loving husband and father passed away at age 86.

Frank was born on October 17, 1936 in Chicago, IL to Frank Sr. and Eleanor (Voelker) Wolniak. Frank enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he spent 2 years in Japan and 2 years in California, where he met and married Kay Gordon on October 24, 1959. They had 2 children Steve and Sherri.

Frank was a private investigator/video specialist for over 30 years and then a paralegal at a law firm in Sacramento. Frank belonged to several clubs – Elks Lodge, Polish Club in Roseville and a Jeep Club.

Frank was an altar boy in Chicago and then an usher at St. John the Evangelist Parish in Carmichael. Frank loved fishing, camping, jeeping and all things electronic.

Frank was preceded in death by his father Frank, mother Eleanor and sister Mary.

Frank is survived by his wife Kay, his children Steve and Sherri, his brother Charles and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Frank will be missed by many.

Family and Friends are invited to a Visitation Thursday, August 10, 2023 starting at 12:00 pm followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 pm at Calvary Funeral Cemetery, 7101 Verner Avenue, Citrus Heights. Interment following at Calvary Cemetery.
