Passed away peacefully on October 28 in Sacramento, surrounded by family and prayer. Beloved son of Maria Jimenez and Isaac Perez and brother to 9, Fernando was born February 25, 1930 in Aguascalientes, Mexico. He spent his youth in Mexico City, moved to California at the age of 17, settling in Sacramento where he met his wife, Theresa. Together they raised 8 children. Fernando was a laborer, business owner, and retired from the Assembly Printing Press. He was known for his love of family, soccer, dancing, story telling, and joking around. He was an active member of Manitos and enjoyed socializing. He was an avid soccer player and played for Libertad Soccer Club in the 1950’s. He is survived by 8 children and spouses, 17 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 3 siblings and much extended family. He will be dearly missed. Rosary: Mon., Nov. 14, 6:00pm at St. Mary Cemetery Chapel. Funeral Mass: Tues. Nov. 15, 12pm at St. Robert Church; burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
