Donna Marie Schulte
Donna was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 10, 1949 to Frank and Charlotte Grumova. She attended Catholic grade school and high school before working for the Chicago Sun Times newspaper, Bic Pen Corporation, and TWA airlines, as a flight attendant. Donna loved traveling and shared her joy of flying with her family.
After welcoming her daughter, Stacey, in 1978, they moved to California. On November 27, 1983 she married Bill Schulte at Holy Family Catholic Church in San Jose, California. They recently celebrated 41 years of marriage together. Their family grew; welcoming Ashley in 1984 and Kelly in 1986. They resided in San Jose, California before moving to Sacramento, California in 1989. Donna was a member of the Divine Savior Catholic Parish and a Eucharistic Minister for many years. She was a sales representative for Avon before excelling as a District Manager for Driveline Retail. While she held many jobs throughout her life, her most important and cherished role was being a mother to her three daughters.
Her passions included being active in the school and church communities, decorating for holidays, knitting, baking, crafting, cheering on her girls at sports, and watching her beloved Hallmark Channel.
She is survived by her husband Bill Schulte; daughters Stacey (David) Yow, Ashley (Bailey) Gray, and Kelly Schulte; grandchildren Addison, Benjamin, and Emery Yow and Sadie and Lincoln Gray; and several cousins and extended family in Illinois and Minnesota.
She showed strength and courage during her five year battle with cancer. On January 11, 2025, she joined her mother and father in heaven, passing peacefully in her home of 36 years, surrounded by her family.
