Donna Marie Delgado

Donna Delgado, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully after an 8 year battle with “Lewy” body dementia on June 25, 2026.  Donna was born in Sacramento, California in 1941 and grew up, worked, and lived her entire 85 years in the city that she loved.  She enjoyed cooking Thanksgiving dinners and watching 49er games with her family.  She was also an avid traveler and visited 18 countries with her lifelong friends and co-workers from the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office.  Donna will be deeply missed by her children, Susan Jimenez (Fernando) and Scott Delgado (Kimberly), her grandchildren, Matthew, Abby, Nolan, and Lauren, and her cherished sister, Joy Ann Seifert and many extended family and friends.  A special thank you to Andrea Batts and Juliette Flores who compassionately helped care for Donna these last three years.
