In Loving Memory of Dominga Bueno

May 25, 1930 – August 16, 2026

Dominga “Inang” Pascua Bueno, aged 96, of Sacramento, California, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family. Born in Villasis, Pangasinan, Philippines, to Anatalia Cabading and Nemesio Pascua, she was raised by her mother after her father migrated to the United States when she was just one year old. Dominga was a steadfast matriarch and devout Catholic, birthing seven children. In 1980, she immigrated to the United States with Antonino Bueno, her beloved husband of 68 years before his passing. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, she will be remembered for the love she gave to her family, the feisty demeanor and strength she carried throughout her life, and the many memories she created with those who were blessed to know her.

Dominga was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Antonino Bueno; her children, Placido, Leticia, and Dionisio; and one granddaughter and two great grandchildren. She is lovingly survived by her four children: Fernando (Conchita); Adele (late Florencio), Cipriano (Cherrie); and Avelina (Luis). Her greatest legacy lives on through her family, including 21 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, whose lives carry forward the love, values, and memories she shared with them.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 9/1 from 5:00-8:00 PM at St. Mary’s Cemetery & Funeral Center, with a Rosary prayer at 5:30 PM. A Catholic mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, 9/2 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Parish in Elk Grove, with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
