Dianne Harris

On March 12, 2026, Claire Dianne Harris passed away peacefully, surrounded by the deep love
of her family. Dianne was born on November 1,1951, in Visalia, California, and lived a life
beautifully defined by devotion—to her husband, her family, her faith, and the many lives she
touched along the way.
At a young age, Dianne moved to be near her grandparents in Orosi, California, where she was
raised by her mother alongside her siblings. Those early years shaped her strong sense of
family and loyalty. She later moved to Kingsburg, California, beginning her freshman year of
high school, where many lifelong memories were formed.
In May of 1969, by what could only be described as chance, Dianne happened to visit the local
golf course where Tim Harris was working. They spent the evening together, and within weeks
began dating. It quickly became clear that what they shared was something rare and lasting.
They were engaged soon after and married in 1970, beginning a lifelong love story that would
span more than five decades. A partnership marked by deep friendship, unwavering
commitment, and enduring love.
Dianne devoted 17 years to serving as an Instructional Aide with the Roseville City School
District. She worked closely with students performing below grade level, offering patience,
kindness, and steady encouragement. She had a special heart for children who needed extra
support, and her dedication made a meaningful difference in countless young lives.
Her joyful spirit extended far beyond her work. Dianne loved to dance. She not only taught
dance classes for a time, but later joined the Sierra Dance Academy Company as an adult,
competing in many cities including Las Vegas. She carried both grace and determination onto
the dance floor, reflecting the vibrant energy she brought to everyday life.
Her faith was also a cornerstone of who she was. Dianne faithfully served on the church
cleaning crew every Saturday morning at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church for many years.
She attended classes and Bible studies throughout the years, always seeking to grow deeper in
her faith and live it out through service.
Above all, Dianne’s greatest joy was her family. She was blessed with three children and six
grandchildren, each of whom she loved wholeheartedly. From camping trips and dance
competitions to holiday gatherings and her most cherished Disneyland adventures, her happiest
moments were those spent with all her family together. Nothing brought her more joy than
having her family close.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Tim Harris; her brother, Mike Girazian and
his wife, Glenda; her sister, Denise Haynes and her husband, Brett; her daughter, Michelle
Buljan; her son, Tom Harris and his wife Sarah; her daughter, Katie Pierson and her husband,
Chase; and her beloved grandchildren, Andrew Harris, Cameron Harris, Madison Harris,
Emmett Pierson, Bryce Pierson, and Noah Pierson, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Looking back, it is remarkable to think that a chance meeting at a golf course in 1969
blossomed into a lifetime of love, family, faith, and beautiful memories. Dianne’s life was a gift to
those who knew her, and her legacy of love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family
forever.
A celebration of her life will be held on April 11, 2026 at 10:30am, at Calvary Cemetery 7100
Verner Avenue, Citrus Heights, CA. The family requests that you wear casual/colorful clothes.
Dianne’s favorite color is red.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent De Paul Society Roseville Conference.
