Diane Alora Bierman

Diane Alora Bierman, 85, passed away peacefully on May 13th, 2026, surrounded by
her loving family.
Diane was born on February 21st, 1941, in Burbank, California, to William and Louise
Cooper. She graduated from John Burroughs High School and San Jose State University. She
taught elementary school students in Burbank and Sacramento for 34 years.
Diane is survived by her husband of 61 years, David, her sister, Mary Lou Little of
Northridge, her children, Martin, Randall, and Alora, five grandchildren, son-in-law, Donald and
daughter-in-law Marissa. She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Ashleigh,
and daughter-in-law, Renee.
Diane loved playing bridge and various board games with her family, baking, and
organizing activities at Sacred Heart Church and Heritage Park. She was known for her
generosity and her unwavering dedication to her students.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 25th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s
Cemetery. A reception will follow.
