Courtney Anne Cameron

Courtney Anne Cameron, age 52, passed away on December 29th, 2025, in Roseville, California.

Courtney was born on October 18, 1973, in Woodland, California, to Mary Joyce Cameron and Keith Duncan Cameron. From an early age, she demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility, compassion, and resilience—qualities that defined both her personal life and her career.

Courtney was a devoted stay at home Mom. She was a loving and steadfast wife to Kevin Merideth, a proud and dedicated mother to her son Zachary, and a caring and supportive stepmother to Derek and Connor. Her family was the center of her world, and she showed her love through unwavering support, encouragement, and presence in their lives.

Courtney was very adventurous and worked many jobs throughout her life, including cutting hay, working in airline aviation, and serving her country in the United States Coast Guard, where she served as a Boarding Officer during 9/11 and became one of the first Sea Marshals, working tirelessly to board and escort container ships into U.S. harbors. She took great pride in her service and in the discipline and leadership it instilled. Courtney earned her private pilot’s license in a helicopter. She spent two years living and studying abroad, one year in Mexico as an exchange student through the Rotary Club. One year in Spain while earning her Bachelor’s degree at California State University, Chico, Courtney attended two Model UN sessions—all experiences she valued deeply.

Courtney was also deeply committed to her friends and local community. She was known for her willingness to lend a helping hand, her loyalty, and her genuine care for those around her. Whether supporting a neighbor, mentoring others through her work and service, or simply being there when someone needed her, Courtney made a lasting impact on her community and was especially proud of her dedicated volunteer work in the Diabetes community, where her work will be cherished for many years. Her strength, kindness, and integrity earned the respect and admiration of all who knew her.

She is also survived by her brother, Duncan Cameron, with whom she shared a close and enduring bond, and her sister Carrie Cameron.

Courtney Anne Cameron will be remembered for her dedication to family, service to others, and the deep connections she built throughout her life. Her legacy of love, service, and commitment will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, 10:00 am at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 615 Vine Avenue, Roseville. Burial will be at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Dixon.
