Cecilia D. Da Silva

Cecilia was born in a small village called Pedro Miguel in Faial, Azores – Portugal.  In her early 20’s she departed Azores to begin her permanent life.   Strong work ethics and discipline allowed her and husband, Mario S. Silva (deceased) to raise a family of 3 children and many pets along the way.  Cecilia worked as a CNA to assist individuals with physical disabilities, mental impairments, and other health care needs.   Towards the end of her career, Cecilia would care for individuals at their homes and/or her own home.  Cecilia always moved forward to finding answers to care for people. 

 In her spare time, Cecilia would water/oil paint, knit, crochet, sew, garden, craft with flowers and/or other crafty platforms.  Every waking minute, Cecilia would be using her hands to do something productive and volunteer to give away her crafts and time.  Thousands of neck pillows were sewn by Cecilia only to be shared with those less unfortunate in hospitals and senior care homes.

Cecilia is survived by her daughter, Denise Schneider and son-in-law, Jason Schneider, her son, Manuel Fernando Silva and two daughter-in-laws, Stacey Silva and Isabelle Silva-Przypek, additionally, two grandchildren, Rachel Silva and Nicholas Silva.  Her husband, Mario S Silva is deceased along with her eldest son, Mario Delio Silva.
