CECELIA MADELINE NEELEY

It is with great sadness that we share Cecelia “Cece” Madeline Neeley passed away peacefully with her son by her side at the age of 101 on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.  Cece was born on August 9, 1923, to John and Josephine Sugar in Sacramento, CA. Cece was pre-deceased by husband Robert (Bob) Neeley, Parents John and Josephine Sugar and brother Victor Sugar (Zoe Ann).

Cece and Bob were happily married for over 56 years.

Cece was the sweetest, kindest, and most loving person who deeply loved her family and friends. For many years, she was rarely without her camera!  This is evidenced by thousands of pictures in over 50 photo albums that she had!

Cece truly delighted in spending time with family and friends. She mostly enjoyed hosting Christmas Eve where all were welcome. Cece always served her homemade pizza, and the neighbors would come by hoping to get a bite!

Cece is survived by her son, Pat, daughter-in-law, Debi, and many nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, cousins, and many other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Saint Mary Cemetery and Funeral Center, 6509 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento, CA 95820.

Visitation: 9:00 – 10:00am

Service: 10:00 – 11:00am

Committal: 11:00 – 11:30

Reception: 11:30
