Carol Marie White

Heaven has gained an angel when beloved mother and grandmother, Carol Marie White, passed on from this world unexpectedly at the age of 85 into Our Father’s arms at her home on September 15, 2026.
Her family is devastated by this loss. She was their beacon of light that guided their way home and they will be utterly lost without her. Their sky has lost its North Star. She is survived by her children: James III, Noelle, Christopher and Melissa, her grandchildren: Amber, James Peter, Vincent, Katelynn, Alexander, Jacob, Sabrina and Zachary, her brothers: Edward and William, Sister in-laws: Leslie, Lucille, Paula and Patricia, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She will be greeted in Heaven by her loving husband James II, granddaughter Ashley, mother Pauline, father Edward and brother Michael.
Carol was born on April 15, 1941 and married the love of her life, James II, on June 16, 1962. After they were married, they moved from the Bronx, New York to California where they had four children and nine grandchildren. At the age of forty-five, she enrolled in college and graduated with her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the California State University of Sacramento at the age of 51. She worked as a Social Worker for thirty years until her retirement from Sierra Forever Families. She flourished in her field of adoption services where she found joy in placing children in homes of loving families. In her retirement, she volunteered at Family Promise and Music Circus, traveled and spent time with family and friends. She was proud to be a world traveler visiting many countries: England, Italy, France, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Austria, Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, Mexico, Japan, Spain, Greece, Bahamas, China and Africa.
Carol’s absence will be felt by her dear friends who will miss her friendship, loyalty, laughter, wisdom and support. Carol approached life with tenacity, bravery, strength and wisdom. Her love and dedication to her family and friends was unparalleled. Her memory will live on by those who loved her. She will be missed always and forever.
