Byron Frank Clark, Jr. was born on March 5, 1956 in Berkeley, CA and passed away on September 23, 2022 in Elk Grove, CA at age 66. He lived in Concord, CA with his parents Byron Frank Clark, Sr. and Nadine Alice Clark (Le Clair). The family moved to Sacramento in January, 1964. Byron attended Queen of All Saints Catholic School in Concord, CA and Holy Spirit Elementary in Sacramento, CA. He graduated from Christian Brothers High School in 1976. Byron started his CDCR Academy on June 1, 1996 and was assigned to CSP-Sacramento on July 15, 1996. He was promoted to San Quentin State Prison as a Correctional Sergeant on February 5, 2001. He transferred to the Academy on April 29, 2002, transferred to CSP-SAC on February 2, 2004, promoted to (SQSP) as a Correctional Lieutenant on December 17, 2007, and retired on September 30, 2012. He is survived by his wife Teresita Roux Clark, stepdaughter Maria Gemma Basham, son-in-law Dan Basham, step grandchildren Kayla and Steven Basham, and sister Susan Stone.
