Bea was a Tax Administrator I, where she mentored, coached and groomed her staff. Her efforts enabled staff to thrive and promote within State service.  She retired in 2021.

Bea had a spice for life.  Bea enjoyed traveling, good music, gardening, cooking and entertaining.  Bea knew how to throw down in the kitchen and had an impressive palate for finer foods. Although she was small in size, she was big in personality with a wonderful laugh that filled the room and that would make anyone smile.  She also loved spending time with her girlfriends.  They were a major part of her life.  They were her 2nd family.  She loved them and they loved her.

Bea was proceeded in death by her parents Kelso and Angie.  She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories daughter Vanessa.  She also leaves behind siblings Carl Jones, Dedria Symns-Reid and Stephen Molson.  In addition, she leaves a host of nieces and nephews (Cleo, Tiger, Brian, Stephenee, Timira, Coby, Evan, Michael, Tammy, and Sylvia).  She had a special close bond with her lifetime friend Pam White, who remained planted by her side through the peaks and valleys until her transition home.

Ms. Bea, job well done!  May you rest in power!
