Artemisa Gutierrez Aguero

Artemisa Aguero (aka Micha) was born in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico on December 4, 1923. She passed
away at the age of 100 on June 18, 2024, in Rio Linda, California surrounded by her beloved family and
friends. She was employed as a Cannery Worker for over 35 years. She was also a teacher. She taught
her family an excellent work ethic, to love unconditionally, to be generous and thrifty and how to be the
best Mama and Nana. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Mother-in-Law, Nana, Great Nana and Great Great
Nana as well as a devoted friend to many. Micha loved her faith, gardening at her house in Rio Linda
which she owned for over 60 years, sewing, cooking, drinking coffee, eating pan dulce, dancing, helping
others and gambling at Thunder Valley. Sadly, she was predeceased by her only son, Jose Luis Gutierrez
-age 2 and daughter, Mercy Villa-age 17, as well as her mother and five siblings. She was also
predeceased by three husbands. She is survived by her daughters – Dora Alice Martinez, Melva Medrano,
Frances Hensley, Jovita Allen, Norma Ames. Son-in-Laws – Manuel Martinez, George Medrano, Jimmy
Hensley, Robert Allen, Robert Ames. Grandchildren – Virginia Dahilig, Manny Martinez Jr., Cyndi Solorio,
Robert Matthews, Rachel Gonzales, Vincent Vierria, Markus Vierria, Lindsay Scott, Amy Lara. Great
Grandchildren – Andrew Dahilig, Adam Dahilig, Amber Jackson, Rachel Gaudette, Alyssa Villalobos,
Dominic Baldizan, Amanda Villalobos, Adriana Villalobos, Leonardo Villalobos, Lucas Gonzales, Lilly
Gonzales, Macy Hamer, Grace Vierria, Henry Vierria, Grady Vierria, Connor Scott, Charley Lara, Drew Lara.
Great Great Grandchildren- Sunday Gonazalez, Cadence Gaudette, Raymond Garcia, Manny Garcia,
Emma Villalobos, Miliano Guevara, Mateo Guevara, Matthias Guevara. Micha has one surviving brother
and Sister-In-Law – Lee Boykin and Lupita Boykin as well as many more extended loved family members,
nieces, nephews, and cousins in California, Arizona and Mexico.
