My mother Ana Maria Lopez was born on October 16,1938 in Apatzingán, Michoacán, Mexico to Tiburcio y Natividad Gómez. She had 4 brothers 6 sisters. She migrated to the U.S with her mother and 3 of her siblings and met and married her husband, Patrick Juan Lopez in December 1972, and had 1 child, her daughter, Rocio Johnson. She was a devoted and loving mother to her daughter and son-in-law, Alvin Johnson, who was like a son to her. She dedicated her life to help raising her 2 grandchildren, Cristian and Kiara Johnson and including several nieces and nephews.

She loved, family gatherings, cooking, gardening, playing cards with her family and sisters and her crossword puzzles. She was always faithful in reading her bible daily and saying her prayers over her family and friends.

Emigró a los Estados Unidos con su madre y 3 de sus hermanos, y conoció y se casó con su esposo, Patrick Juan López, en diciembre de 1972, y tuvo 1 hijo, su hija, Rocío Johnson. Fue una madre devota y amorosa para su hija y su yerno, Alvin Johnson, quien era como un hijo para ella. Dedicó su vida a ayudar a criar a sus 2 nietos, Cristian y Kiara Johnson, incluyendo también a varios sobrinos y sobrinas.

Le encantaban las reuniones familiares, cocinar, la jardinería, jugar cartas con su familia y sus hermanas, y sus crucigramas. Siempre fue fiel en leer su biblia a diario y decir sus oraciones por su familia y amigos.
