Alvin Earl Ricci Jr.

Alvin Earl Ricci Jr. was a lifelong Sacramentan who was born and raised in the Land Park community. He was the beloved son of Alvin and Delvina Ricci and grew up surrounded by family, friends, and the Sacramento community he loved.

Alvin attended C.K. McClatchy High School, where he distinguished himself as an All-City basketball player. Shortly after graduating, he proudly joined the United States Air Force.

Following his military service, Alvin worked for Standard Oil before embarking on a successful career in business. He eventually became the owner of Sacramento Bail Bonds Agency, a business with more than 100 years of history. He also became the proud owner of Downtown Ricci’s, a successful Italian restaurant that became a cherished part of Sacramento.

A successful real estate investor and entrepreneur, Alvin was always willing to help others. He helped numerous people find opportunities, build businesses, and achieve success of their own. He believed in people and took great pleasure in seeing those around him do well.

Outside of work, Alvin truly enjoyed life. He loved golfing, hunting, fishing, and dancing, but perhaps most of all, he enjoyed the company of his many friends and loved ones. He had a generous spirit, a love for life, and a way of making people feel welcome.

Alvin and Joan Ricci are survived by their children, Gary M. Ricci and Linda Ricci; their two daughters Susan Campoy and Joe Campoy, Nancy Bennet and Fred Bennet, and their many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He leaves behind a lifetime of memories and countless people whose lives he touched through his friendship, generosity, and kindness.

Alvin will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will live on through the people he loved, the lives he helped, and the memories he created through his remarkable life.

May he rest in peace and always be remembered.
