Adela Guerrero

Adela Guerrero was born in Sebastian, Texas on March 27, 1944.  She got her wings and went to walk with the angels on September 12, 2022 in Rocklin, California.  Beloved wife of Joaquin R. Guerrero (deceased).  She was the oldest daughter of Pedro Moreno (deceased) and is survived by Mother Eliza Alfaro Moreno, 98, of Raymondville, Texas.  She is survived by her son Guillermo Guerrero and two grandsons, Gabriel and Nathan Guerrero of Rocklin, California.  She is also survived by sisters Maria Moreno, Lydia Gonzalez and Diana Medina and two brothers, Pedro (Alamar) Moreno, Juan Moreno of Raymondville, Texas;  and Martin (Crystal) Moreno of Austin, Texas.  She is survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and numerous friends.

 

She was involved with St. Charles Borromeo Parish and choir, enjoyed feeding the homeless and helping others in need.  She loved western movies and the Andy Griffin show.  She wore mixed colored socks and shoes.  She and Mother Eliza during phone calls prayed and sang “When The Saints Come Marching In” in Spanish.

 

Adela was laid to rest on Monday, September 26, 2022 in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 6509 Fruitridge Rd., Sacramento, CA 95820.
