Marcelle Mt Perry

Mary Jesse Thomas was born in Sacramento, CA, in 1946. She was the daughter of Dorothy Mary Mannina and Henry Harris Evers. She attended school at Luther Burbank High School and worked for the State of California for 33 years. She was married to her loving husband Kent Thomas for 37 years and is the proud mother of Dorrie, Tony (Christie) and Gina (Jason). Proud grandma of Christopher, Michael, Austin, Jesse, Brittany, John Paul, Katelynn, Audrey, Eli, Isabella, and Ethan. Her great grandchildren, Cheyanne, Paisley, Max, Orion, Elena and Joseph. She was predeceased in death by her brother, Henry Evers.

Mary loved to play Bunco and cards (especially hand and foot) and was a member of several groups over the years. She enjoyed shopping, traveling and playing penny slots at the local casinos with family and friends. Mary will be fondly remembered for her amazing talent of decorating her beautiful home for every holiday, especially Halloween and Christmas as well as her delicious cooking. She is already dearly missed by her family and her many close friends.

Services for Mary Thomas will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery on Tuesday, December 17 th , starting at St. Mary’s Chapel at 9:00 am for Viewing, 9:30 am Rosary, 10:00 am Mass, 10:45 – 11:00 Committal Ceremony. 11:45 Reception at Mary’s favorite restaurant, Caballo Blanco, on Franklin and Fruitridge in Sacramento.
