Fuentes, Olga Rosalina

Born on Tuesday, March 25, 1934 in El Paso Texas, the only child of Lino Montes and Carmen Marrufo.

Entered eternal life on Friday, August 2, 2024.

Predeceased in death by her beloved husband Robert and favorite son-in-law David Martin. Loving mother of Anna Martin, Roberta Fuentes and Diane Michel.   Devoted grandmother of Alexandra, Andrea, Gabriela, and Angela.

Retired from Los Angeles Unified School District, and relocated to Sacramento in 1992 to be an active grandparent in her granddaughters’ lives. Devoted Catholic, parish member of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament and avid supporter of Catholic education.  Robert and Olga were proud to be able to provide a Catholic education to all of their daughters, and support their granddaughters in their Catholic education.   In her later years, she enjoyed reading biographies, doing puzzles, watching her favorite TV shows, talking to her friends on the phone, praying the rosary twice daily and spending time with her canine granddaughter, Blanca Marie.

Olga has been laid to rest privately.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Francis Elementary School, Gardening Fund, 2500 K Street, Sacramento CA 95816.
