CAREGIVING TODAY: It’s a Balancing Act. Gail Arno, CMC and Director of Care Management at Elder Care Management
The Elder Care Management team has over a decade of experience supporting clients and their families through the aging journey. Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia adds additional layers of complexity to the situation. If you are a caregiver, finding value in your role and knowing your limitations can be critical to your success. Becoming educated and knowledgeable about the journey ahead can make all the difference. Join us to learn the importance of self-care and tools to make it happen.
UNDERSTANDING ALZHEIMER’S AND DEMENTIA. Kate Kriner, Community Educator Alzheimer’s Association
Alzheimer’s is not normal aging. It’s a disease of the brain that causes problems with memory, thinking and behavior. Join us to learn about the impact of Alzheimer’s, the difference between Alzheimer’s and dementia, Alzheimer’s disease stages and risk factors, current research and treatments available to address some symptoms.
