Our first priority continues to be the safety and well-being of those we work with and those we serve. Catholic Funeral and Cemetery Services of the Diocese of Sacramento (CFCS) remains open and ready to serve you in your time of need.
In response to the recent increases in COVID cases and the transmissibility of the Omicron variant, effective Friday, January 7, 2022, CFCS will implement and follow on-site visitor level adjustments. These adjustments are intended to reduce potential contact within each facility, at any one time.
If you plan to visit to one of our funeral homes or offices, we ask that you set an appointment in advance. Also, we ask that you please wear a mask. Most importantly, if you are not feeling well, please stay home. We do offer virtual and/or telephone appointments if you prefer.

Please note that we are not able to apply on your behalf. Individuals must call directly to start an application. However, we will gladly furnish any paperwork that you may require. We can assist families with the application process, by ordering copies of a death certificate or providing copies of receipts or contracts showing the expenses that were incurred.
Please send email to info@cfcssacramento.org, subject line: FEMA.
In fact, no one can register you for FEMA Funeral Assistance but you. FEMA has received reports of scammers reaching out to people offering to register them for funeral benefits.
